I started MarketDoc to help marketers, business owners, solopreneurs and bloggers get more customers from smarter content marketing with the no-frills, step-by-step content marketing and content promotion strategies.

Here’s some of my background and how I got into this fast growing online world!
I was raised by a family of entrepreneurs, my father runs a research company, my mom is a fashion designer and my step-dad manages an apparel factory. My first entrepreneurial endeavors included selling lemonade in front of my family’s house and the typical eBay business selling Beanie Babies, Gogo’s and basketball cards. At one point, I even tried reselling our internet to my friends with internet cafe software…
I earned a degree in Finance at Fordham University, while teaching myself about the web and marketing online. Before that I spent three years at Parsons School of Design to learn design and management.
When I graduated, I stayed in New York to start my career in corporate finance. When I was 24, I caught an intense case of the startup bug and changed careers to work at two startups, one in financial research and news and another in social media reputation management. Before I worked at the social media reputation management company, I started managing pay per click ads for small and medium-sized businesses.
Along the way, I found out that I had a knack for optimizing online ads, go figure! Once I left the social media company, I ramped up my pay per click advertising clients to turn it into a full-time business. Along the way, I learned how to write “epic” content and guest posts by following what the other top blogs were doing. (That means I jumped from “Financial Analyst” to “Marketing Director” to “CEO” as my job title—a fun shortcut if I say so myself!)
The issue then became scaling up. I have always had fire in my belly for helping small businesses and I love the impact paid search, content marketing and guest blogging can have on a business’ bottom line. But I knew if I wanted to grow my business and make more money, I would need to find larger corporate clients that could pay me bigger fees.
There must be a better way!
That’s when I decided to start the MarketDoc blog and create online courses, to help small business owners, solopreneurs and bloggers grow their businesses by combining the power of effective blogging and content promotion strategies that work. There’s too much misinformation out there and I’m here to serve as your go to resource for what’s working right now.
It’s been a wild ride so far, as I’ve gotten featured by some of the top blogs out there, like Lifehack, SEMrush, Kikolani and soon Kissmetrics, Nathalie Lussier’s AmbitionAlly blog and more! I write at least 1,000 words per day because I enjoy it and enjoy teaching small businesses as much as possible. I have gotten the opportunity to talk to and learn from the best and brightest bloggers in the blogosphere. I never stop learning about content promotion, paid traffic and entrepreneurship and I’m passionate about learning as much as I can everyday.
